New ROM for LG GW620 / EVE
Since some weeks ago I’m working in a new ROM for LG GW620 device, is called toleROM at the moment. I have the 0.4 version, but this version only have preroot for V10G_00 firmware from LG.
In this new version I have added more features. The new version is based on V10G_00 firmware too. It’s a open firmware without operator logos and applications. I have change the boot image to make actions in the init of system to add some features as Apps2SD and Market hack. I have make changes in system image too, I have added busybox, terminfo, nano and superuser. And I want to add some basic applications installed on userdata image, although I don´t know how to install this applications without release a userdata.img, I will have to try some way due to LG GW620 don’t have recovery mode as HTC Magic(MyTouch), HTC Dream (G1) and others.
These are the complete features for this new version:
- Based on OPEN V10G_00
- Preroot with Superuser whitelist – To raise privileges.
- Busybox – Commnad line utils.
- Terminfo – Nurses support in the terminal emulator.
- Nano for Androi – Text editor for terminal emulator (Treminfo required).
- BetterKeyboard – QWERTY touck keyboard.
- Terminal emulator – Terminal emulator to send command line commands.
- Advanced task manager – Task manager/killer/uninstall for Android
- ApnDroid – Avoid 3G connections.
- xyFlash – To view several video formats
- Complete APN list, by Super@atmel. All APN from all opertaros of several countries.
- toleROM Setup – Custom application for config the ROM features.
- Market hack – To activate paid applications on the market for operators without contracts with Google.
- App2SD – Move all applications to SD card.
- Application2SD – Move the selected application to SD. (not all)
- toleBackup – Nandroid Backup variant to save your device backups to SD card.
- tolePart – To make partitions in your SD.
I can’t determinate the release date. I’m close to end but I don’t know how many time I need to test all features. At the moment I’m implementing the tolePart, after this I could test all.

Menuda currelada, no sabÃa que lo llevabas tan avanzado, te adjunto esto aunque supongo que es fácil que lo conozcas, si no es asà creo que te puede ir bastante bien para automatizar cosas en la creación de ROM’s, desconozco como lo haces y/o hacÃa Super o lo que probabas con el.
Es el dsixda_Android_Kitchen_0.38.zip de XDA el cual he añadido una versión traducida al castellano y pautado el código a mi manera por si alguien en el foro se anima a toquetearlo: http://www.htcmania.com/showpost.php?p=952631&postcount=40
Según he visto en el código de los scripts se puede usar desde Windows con Cigwin, yo no conocÃa su existencia hasta entonces y no se que tal va.
A medida que vaya probando este kit de scripts de “cocina fácil” iré aprendiendo un poco mejor el tema.

Me ha costado bastantes dolores de cabeza, he aprendido un huevo haciendo esto, pero una vez que las cosas van saliendo y le pillas el truco se avanza rapido.

Hola tolemaC, me acaba de llegar mi LG GW620 y ya tengo ganas de aplicarle un toleROMazo. Sólo animarte a continuar por este camino y espero que pronto esté disponible
Qué ROM me podrÃas recomendar para utilizar temporalmente?

Esta versión del SupSetup (toleROM es muy apropiado) está muy bien. Me gustan las pestañas de arriba para ir pasando por los diferentes apartados de la configuración, y veo que se ha avanzado mucho con las copias de seguridad.

XY Flash need SN to play FLV format ??
I haven’t try FLV format. You must try.
What is SN?
I’ve tried. The XYFlash can play d flv file format. But it isn’t free software….I think.
Cause d software will ask the SN = Serial Number.
If we play in trial mode…. just only can play in 2 minutes… and the player will stop.
SN = Serial Number…
If I play with trial ver…just only can play for 2 min.
What FLV isn’t a free program?

Sorry I don’t like to view videos in my phone. I like compile Andriod and make the user life more easy. I you want to play videos of any type you must ask it in application forums or somethink like.
